What is Vegetable Tanned Leather?

Vegetable tanned leather is leather that has been tanned using tannin contained in plants and finished with little or no surface processing such as stamping.

Its texture, high quality, character, smell, and smooth touch make it instantly recognizable as genuine leather.

Scars, wrinkles, blood vessels, and pores are left as they are, giving it a rich expression.

These are called "natural stamps."

Since there is almost no surface processing, the natural stamp appears more clearly than in other leathers, and this gives each piece of leather its character and flavor.

It is also very sturdy due to the tightness of the fibers.

The leather feels a little stiff at first, but the fibers gradually loosen and become softer and more comfortable with use.

As it has no surface finish, it is prone to scratches, but with prolonged use and Care, the scratches will become part of the user's personality.

As it ages, scratches become part of the user's personality. Besides, as the leather's original oils seep out through stimuli such as light, heat, and friction, the leather naturally polishes and develops a unique luster.

*As a characteristic of vegetable tanned leather, no two pieces are the same. Please enjoy it as a unique individuality only one in the world.
